Terms of service

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of BuildKins, operated by dromos, inc. By requesting an invite, creating an account, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a child, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian.

2. Accounts and eligibility

BuildKins is invite-only during beta. A parent or guardian must create and consent to any child account. You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for activity under the account. Handles are assigned from a curated pool and may not be chosen freely.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to attempt to circumvent the safety design of the service. In particular, you may not:

• try to add, exploit, or reintroduce any messaging, chat, or text-input capability;
• reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the service;
• use the service to harass others or to collect information about other players.

4. Games and content

Games are provided by us and by third-party developers who accept our developer terms and pass review. We may add, remove, or update games at any time. Developers retain ownership of their content and grant us a license to host and distribute it through BuildKins.

5. Purchases

Any paid items are optional, fixed-price, shown in real currency, and purchased on the web by a parent through Stripe. There are no loot boxes or randomized paid rewards. Refunds are handled case by case; contact support@buildkins.com.

6. Developer terms

Developers who publish on BuildKins attest that they hold the rights to their content, agree to the review rules (no dark patterns, no text input), and receive 80% of net sales, paid out monthly via Stripe Connect. We take a 20% platform fee and cover payment processing.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" during beta. To the fullest extent permitted by law, dromos, inc. is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Termination

You may stop using BuildKins and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms or the safety design of the service.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated to account holders. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Questions? support@buildkins.com.
